The highly sculptured handcrafted Egg Chair is unique in that sitters can swivel towards the conversation area or away from others if privacy is desired. A tilt mechanism allows for relaxed lounging and the high back curving elements are reminiscent of a traditional wing chair. Our inspired version of The Egg chair is not only known for its aesthetically pleasing shape. It is a comfortable, functional piece of furniture, as Jacobsen's design generally is. The chair is of course available in classic red, but we also have a variety of other colours to choose from. Almost 50 years after its design, The Egg Chair is still used in advertising, film and television as a symbol of sophisticated urbanism.
